The route, broken down.
Day 01Into Ao Nang, across to Railay
Land at Phuket and transfer to Ao Nang, then a longtail boat across to Railay for the limestone cliffs and an evening on the sand.
Day 02The Hong Islands and the night market
Island-hop the Hong Islands by boat, with the half-hour climb to the viewpoint worth doing, then Ao Nang Beach and the Landmark Night Market.
Day 03Maya Bay and Pi Leh
Speedboat across from Ao Nang, then the half-day tour: Maya Bay, the Pi Leh lagoon and the snorkelling stops, with a night on the island.
Day 04Across to Phuket and Patong
The speedboat to Phuket and lunch at an Indian restaurant, then Patong Beach and a walk down Bangla Road after dark.
Day 05Old Town and the Big Buddha
A half-day city tour of the old town's shophouses, the Big Buddha on Nakkerd Hill and the Karon viewpoint.
